Old Enough Now to Fish

Tater

Tater is taking a ‘fishing camp’. They get to keep the rod and reel when they are done. Awesome…

This picture was the only one I got before we heard thunder and had to go under shelter. He had just tangled his line. It had a worm on it. Ewwwwww. I can handle bread, but worms. They are just gooey.

If you think the worms are gross, wait till he gets a *fish* on that hook!

I sure hope that who ever is teaching knows how to catch fish..but be warned..if he catches fish it may become habit forming

Luckily he only caught a fish on the first day. He finds it rather boring right now. Phew… Though he is going to get the fishing pole to bring home. Guess I’ll be getting some gloves and plyers and taking him fish’n occasional.

My son would LOVE fishing camp. He keeps talking about getting a fishing pole. Whenever I go to the store he “reminds” me to pick one up for him. He’s 4.
