Yep, the start of a week. The question of the day from Tot… why is it green? Because you ate a cupcake with green icing on it this weekend. Oh. Then Tater with his… why does Daddy have to go to work early today? Because he has a deadline to meet… what’s a deadline, why does it matter? Thankfully Tater has a spelling test every Friday and gave me something to use to explain it. That and Tater knows money. 
Basically I explained if Daddy met the deadline and did really well… it would be like Tater getting an A on his test Friday. Daddy has to work with his coworkers to do a good job… like Tater has to study and practice his spelling words all week. Hope that stuck. GRIN
Now if Monday could just start with easy questions that didn’t require me to look at p00p and the like. Maybe a simple, why do you love me mom? Yep, that would be a great start to the morning… even more reasons to give kisses and hugs!

Jake is always so full of questions. He cannot hear anything from us without asking “why?”
We have resorted to asking him to sit quietly for awhile and that we will answer all his questions in a little while. Otherwise we’d never get anything done, including talk to each other!
Yep, I keep wondering when my hubby and I will have a ‘normal’ conversation again when the children are around. Ahhhh I know what will happen… then I’ll be upset that the kids are gone…
