A Short Love Story
A man and a woman who had never met before and were both married to other people, found themselves assigned to the same sleeping room on a Trans-continental train.
Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room, they were both very tired and fell asleep quickly….. He in the upper bunk and she in the lower.
At 1:00 AM, the man leaned down and gently woke the woman saying, ‘Ma’am, I’m sorry to bother you, but would you mind reaching into the closet to get me another blanket? I’m awfully cold.’
I have a better idea,’ she replied with a twinkle in her eye. ‘Just for tonight, let’s pretend that we’re married.’
His eyebrows went up and he smiled, ‘That’s a great idea!’
‘Good’, she replied. ‘Get your own f*cking blanket.’
After a moment of silence, he farted.

Folks, Tot is going to send me over the deep end. He is worried about the world getting filled with quicksand now. Last night it was about what happens when your eyeballs pop out. Please send me another brain… they sucked all my brain cells away after birth and coming up with quick and somewhat true answers is evading me… then again, being asked anything at 2am in the morning is up for weird answers. GRIN
Slowly but surely I am trying to get to everyone blogs and say Happy Holidays. Very slowly.

Just put out a quick couple of posts to let you know I was still alive… here is another look at the stuff that has kept us busy… cool ant bed huh? Mom saved it (ie, didn’t kill the ants) until the boys got to see it. And my hubby now knows where I get it from.

Today I was busy setting up a computer for Mamaw. She bought a compaq Presario with a 22″ widescreen monitor. I bought the upgraded system memory for her. I was shocked. It was cheap. 4 gigabytes of memory cost me $100… When did the price of memory drop? I must have been sleeping under a tree or something. It was worth it. She has a great machine now. Well… she did end up having to get Vista on it… but I think it will work out anyways. GRIN. Who knows, maybe I can convince her to start a blog now!!!

One of the things I noticed this trip was how I was getting older. Remember when you were younger and had acne? I was always looking for the best acne treatments back then… as I got older, it wasn’t as bad… didn’t really get any acne… and then lately… I’m getting some again. I don’t know if it is the overweight issue, chocolate overeating issue or just old age… But I had to have some for all the wonderful family Christmas pictures. sigh… Here is something that makes me smile when I see it… Thank goodness!
The unwrapped presents are from Santa… Yep, lazy…

Ok, so this post is a little early. I wish I was in las vegas right now versus here. The boys have been getting up between 4am and 5am every morning. And Dad just isn’t the one they want. Ugh. My apologies for not posting more or visiting all of ya’ll… I have been very very busy. Just a couple of more days and I’ll be home to relax and work like crazy to get my hubby and mom’s christmas gift done. GRIN….

Here’s a blonde’s account of a recent traffic incident.
“Yesterday I had a flat tire on the interstate. So I ease my car over to the shoulder of the road, carefully get out of the car and open the trunk. I took out 2 cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my car facing oncoming traffic. They look so lifelike you wouldn’t believe! They are in trench coats exposing their nude bodies and private parts to the approaching drivers. But to my surprise, cars start slowing down looking at my lifelike men. And of course, traffic starts backing up.
Everybody is tooting their horns and waving like crazy. It wasn’t long before a state trooper pulls up behind me.
He gets out of his car and starts walking towards me. I could tell he was not a happy camper!”
“What’s going on here?” he demanded.
“My car has a flat tire”, I said calmly.
“Well, what the hell are those obscene cardboard men doing here by the road?”
“I couldn’t believe that he didn’t know. So I told him, ‘Helloooooo, those are my emergency flashers’!”
