Sometimes I can’t resist a deal. I got a great one from Frecklebox! They are a company that makespersonalized books for kids. I got these for Tater (so when you see the pictures, his real name will be blacked out)… and after looking at them… I will now have to go get some for Tot. Take a look at these coloring books… I got them for the long trip to Pensacola to see my mom (and to check them out to see what they really looked like – hard to tell online). Here is what I saw when I got them out of the box:
Notice the plastic wrap around each one and that each has its own crayons. Very cool! I love how on the front cover it had his name. I can’t wait for him to see them… well… after I get some for Tot. GRIN.
What you can’t tell from pictures is that the cover is nice heavy glossy paper. The inside is nice heavy white paper that is great for coloring. Take a look at the inside of Rev It Up:
Notice the black boxes at the bottom of the page? Those were Tater’s name. It is on every page with the font used at the top of the page. Talk about Awesome! My boys love to see their name on stuff. I don’t think they’ll ever outgrow it.
Let’s not forget the monster book… it is a story that also has nice big pictures to color:
Again, Tater’s name all through out the story. While Tater is 6 now… he still prefers to color pictures with big open areas. He may like details in legos, but not in coloring. I can’t wait to show him these books. He is going to be soooo excited. He won’t have long to wait… just until I can get Tot’s ordered and here. Personalized coloring books is not something I would have normally thought about… and I’m glad I took a few minutes to check this set. Definitely a great birthday or holiday gift or for us… a great way to spend some time on a long trip.
