It has been a busy couple of weeks. Visitors, meetings, deadlines… yaa… I’m ready for a break… so now Tater has bronchitis and Tot has an ear infection. No wonder I haven’t gotten any sleep in 3 nights. GRIN.
With all the insanity, I missed getting pictures out of the fun run. I’m showing Tater’s back because it is cute how they marked the laps. See the track? Every time they went around, they would mark one of the ‘squares’ in the lap.
Tater loved the fact that Dad showed up.
It was fun, the company that did it was terrific. One lap the kids had to ‘swim’ while they ran, another they had to play air guitar, then every so often they had the kids walk, and so on. I thought it was neat that instead of selling candy, the kids had to run. I like that kind of fundraiser.
The bugger got mom and dad on the money end of it. There was a limit of 35 laps… but the laps were 1/16th of a mile. We really figured Tater might make 20 laps. So we both gave him a dollar a lap. He really enjoyed all the different ways to run and he did 31 laps. Sigh… $62… not quite what I was expecting… Next time it will be a flat $30.
