Cool title huh? Not mine. It is the name of a book I just finished reading for the second time. Much to my annoyance, my children pulled out my book marks. I had some pages marked to quote some passages from the book. I have looked for a while this morning and can’t find them. I give up. Why did I want those quotes? To let you have a peak at this really great book.
It is a sci/fi book. It is book 2 of the one you see on my side bar. You can read it without reading book 1 (Out of Time) but it flows well from one to the other. I am getting rather attached to the characters.
What makes this a particularly good book for me is that I had to look some words up. Yep, it has an adult vocabulary in it. It has an excellent plot. It has love interest but is not soft pr0n. I get tired of all the s.x scenes in books now adays. Some is ok, but this is one of the few books that doesn’t have page after wasted page of it. Yes I like it in some books and will look for it in specific books… not a good sci/fi.
While I don’t know much about ships, the writing is clear enough to help me understand exactly what is meant. If you are looking for a good book… you might consider this one. It is not in the general stores. You have to buy it online at AMAZON HERE or if you scroll down you can find it HERE at Hallmark Press.
Enjoy! No, I did NOT get paid to write this up. Though I did get a copy signed by the author!
Now you get to go back through the book and try to remember all the spots you had marked! I bet that will turn out to be enjoyable, since you are enjoying the book. Like discovering the goodies all over again.
The Missus and I are reading a book right now that was written by an old college buddy of mine. Trouble is, we’re going different speeds. Finally we took to using little Post-It tabs that are normally used for marking where to sign on contracts. They’re color-coded and tiny enough not to get in the way.
