Most everyone knows about Circuit City going out of business… and we keep checking it out every weekend. The deals aren’t that good yet. Only 20% off their computer stuff… and you can buy it cheaper elsewhere even at their ‘discounted’ price.
What we discovered that the mall down that way had a Macy’s with a sell on as well. 70% off most everything. I just spent close to $200 on bedding and boys clothes… and that was all 60% to 70% off… we wanted to buy a carpet for the front door… but even at 70% off… those things are expensive. The ones we would agree on were $2000 or more… even at 70% off… ugh… The clerks weren’t sure exactly when Macy’s was going to close. Some time in March. Uhhh… it is March. We will check again next weekend. Who knows what good deals you can get!
We got a good deal [not a great one] on a wireless keyboard and mouse for Arthur at Circuit City, but need to go back as the prices go down.
And don’t even tell me that Macy’s is closing… just your store, right??

I had wanted a webcam so DH stopped at Circuit City and even with their “sales” that same cameras were cheaper on Amazon. Luckily an angel sent me a webcam so I didn’t have to pay for it…I just wasn’t impressed with Circuit City and their discounts.
we got a guitar hero guitar for $20 at circuit city
and… we got a 52″ lcd tv for 40% off. it was their last one. that was our tax return. and i am quite pleased with our completely frivolous expense.
