No joke, the first thing out of my hubby’s mouth when it was the day before getting Mamaw from the airport was something like… “Phew, soon we can have meatloaf again Boys!”…. Ahhh the continuation of our story… with Mamaw here, the boys eat ‘Meat’. No more of that blah, bland chicken stuff. Mamaw also makes sure we make lots of leftovers so we can keep on giving when she has left… Think I’m joking? Here is the pile of meatloaf on my counter waiting to have the bread crumb mixture added… why is it on my counter? Because I didn’t have a bowl big enough to handle it!

Meatloaf – mmmmm. I haven’t had good meatloaf in the longest time. Would give Mamaw’s recipe a whirl, except the link doesn’t work. Did she yank it because it was a family secret?

Patti, we break it down into 4 to 6 meatloafs. I freeze all but one of them. That way we have meatloaf for the next month or two.
When my D1 was young her favorite meal was meatloaf, mashed potatoes and corn. It was what she wanted for her birthday meal every year. Bring on the ketchup!
