More Shoeboxes

Not only do the second graders get to utilize shoeboxes… so do Kindergarten kids…

Tot was so excited about his diorama… he pasted the Mayflower to the back after he colored it. And he colored blue under it for water. He loved talking about the cow and the chicken and the house. It was exciting and I loved the expressions on his face as he told me about it.

And he thinks he is even a bigger boy because he has homework that has to be done on computers. Looks a lot like educational play and I think that is great. I was just amazed at how much the teacher assigned. We’ll keep plugging away. Wish there were more math games and less grammer… but such is life.
