Seven Days and What is that thing called?

Seven days and I have no Christmas cards written or sent out. I didn’t even get my gift to Germany mailed yet. I am sooooo sluggish this year. Then again, it is just me. The conversation with my youngest, who woke up for no known reason, went like this at 5:30am:

Mom: Good morning, I love you (as we snuggle)
Tot: What day is it?
Mom: *blink* Friday
Tot: Seven Days until Christmas
Mom: *laughter*

Yaa, not exactly what you want to be reminded of at 5:30am.

I don’t know what it is this year, but… nobody I know is ready for Christmas. Cards? What are those? ;)

We don’t even have a tree. The closest I get to thinking about it is: ‘oh, one week from today we’ll see the kids’.

That’s sad. I know… but there’s nothing to be done about it.

    ack!
I have packages in my car to increase the odds I take them to be mailed to my niece and nephew. Bought and wrapped them in plenty of time… shipping… not my forte!

as for cards, I had them ready mid-November, but for the picture I wanted to include. I stalled on ordering that, and then hated the way the print company cropped it. Oh well. I think you got a pic, you see what I mean about crappy cropping!

    It’s festivus!

Your card is in a bag in the trunk of my car. You might get it by Easter.

    Pam: I get it.
writersblock: Yep, I see what you mean
    Sticks: still haven’t written them…

My cards are going out by New Years. I think…

My kids are excited. I’m grumbly…

Amazing how you always hear that statement just before Christmas! :O)

I didn’t say I had written anything on them. I did put the address on the envelope but that’s as far as I got. The cards have made it into the house. I guess I could be working on them now instead of farming. But there are trees to harvest, fields to tend, and animals to brush. Busy, busy busy. A farmers life isn’t easy.

hahaha Glad to see I’m not the only one.
