I love being around people. My old job was customer service in the telecommunications field. Trust me, I loved it. What I don’t love is supervising small children that aren’t mine. It truly puts me over the edge. Bad enough I’m doing the yearbook which is outside my box, add to it two days of small kids and I’m a goner. I went and made pancakes Wednesday with the youngest class… and yesterday… I went to the zoo and supervised 4 kids. Mine, one other boy and two girls. GIRLS! Egads. No time for the weary either… Then I saw Bou’s post this morning… if I find a decompression chamber, I’ll have to make sure it’s portable so she can use it as well. I think I finally understand an inkling of how she feels. Ugh. I just want total darkness and silence and 12 hours sleep.
