Seems that the more I learn the less I know. If you take calcium, you should be taking the half the amount in magnesium. And you shouldn’t take more than 400mg of calcium at a shot… but you should be getting 1000mg of calcium if you are my size per day. Ugh… I don’t eat enough to get that much. I am overweight as it is… But I need to have calcium.. sigh..
I have been taking a woman’s daily vitamin but joked with my mom about I should go back to prenatal vitamins. Then my sister called me yesterday and told me she is taking them. She needs them. She has deficiencies. And my sister eats the right stuff… not like me. Makes me wonder if it runs in our family. Getting old sucks.
It’s sad but true. I am seriously deficient in vitamins but can’t seem to stomach what feels like big horse pills. I need to look into some kind of liquid variety. Hopefully one that actually tastes good.
