Two deadlines, yellow snot, backache, playdate and… life just doesn’t stop for me. New friends for my oldest and youngest to play with today. If I can just get my stuff together. I’m going to have to find the best anti wrinkle cream to start using so I don’t look so much older than the other moms. I want to have playdates for my boys, but geeze I feel so old sometimes when we do that. And I find it hard to talk about things we have in common besides children. Maybe this mom loves math. I might have a chance. Maybe. Last one was a scientist. Hope for this one right?

I have no idea what to tell you….I did play dates with my kids and had NOTHING in common with the parents.
It got to the point where I took my kids to mommy’s day out program so I could have peace and quiet and didn’t have to ‘talk’ to someone I didn’t know.
I like your idea… but they came to my house to play. She turned out very nice. I really enjoyed her company.
…. wait, Mom’s on playdates talk about math?……. good grief!…. I think my mom talked about milking cows or something!….
….hmm… or, maybe knitting……
