Five Best Sentences

Got this in an email yesterday and I have posted it before after looking up who said it and blah blah blah… I am just going to post it today:

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you’ll ever read:

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

For all those fat cats out there that thought this was a good idea. You have better be prepared for the fat burner you created. It is going to be a nightmare. For my children, your children, our grandchildren. Try rereading those five lines above. Keep reading them until they make sense. While you do that, I’m going to research two things. What I can do to help our country get back on track and which is the best country to move to after this one. Ugh.
