Why doesn’t raising children cause weight loss? I remember my mom being so skinny when I was growing up. I totally get it. She never ate. And if she got stressed she ate even less than never. Yes, I realize what I’m saying. She did not pass this gene on to me. You would think just raising children would be give you a ton of weight loss products… laundry, washing, cleaning bathrooms, homework, sports, and more. Always on the move. Know what I found out? It is not a high enough cardiovascular activity when you do those things. And if you are like me and eat sweets when stressed… along with the lack of cardio activity… you get FAT, OBESE… yes I am saying the ‘bad’ words. Most people don’t realize how large I am. Talking to a friend today who was complaining she was a size 10 now… caused me to explain I’m a size 14. She stopped, stepped back and looked. No I don’t look that big. Guess what. I am.

I have been loosing weight when I get/do the following items:

1. enough sleep
2. bike rides
3. cut down on sweets.

Pretty much guaranteed that I will lose weight. Lately I have been able to keep it off. I just can’t stay consistent in the sleep/bike riding. Which stresses me out and causes me to start eating more sweets. Vicious, ugly cycle. I keep working at it. One day I will get past it. I just hope that day is before I’m 50. Ok, enough for tonight.

Saying prayers with my youngest is always entertaining. For many nights he has reminded God not to bring volcanoes and floods to Florida, to not let the sun go out, to expand the solar system and to not let mom die. Uh… no clue where that last one came from. Not like I’m dieting and wasting away into nothingness. I’m not taking hydroxycut or other weird diet helpers… in fact I stopped loosing weight and am just stuck. Definitely not wasting away. But tonight… change the ‘not let mom die’ to ‘don’t let anyone die’. Phew. I am so glad he is not a psychic seeing the future of my death any time soon as I know he has been in a lot of trouble lately… (sarcasm intended). I do wonder what goes through their minds at this age to come up with this stuff. I want to ask him but am somewhat worried what the answer might be so am letting it go. Though the expand the solar system just might have to be explained. That one really is making me curious. More as I find out or as it changes!

A hooded robber burst into a Texas bank and forced the tellers to load a sack full of cash.

On his way out the door a brave Texas customer grabbed the hood and pulled it off revealing the robber’s face.

The robber shot the customer without a moment’s hesitation.

He then looked around the bank and noticed one of the tellers looking straight at him. The robber instantly shot him also.

Everyone else, by now very scared, looked intently down at the floor in silence.

The robber yelled, “Well, did anyone else see my face?”

There are a few moments of utter silence in which everyone was plainly afraid to speak. Then one old man tentatively raised his hand and said, “My wife got a pretty good look at you.”
