It was entertaining talking to the boys about the trip. On the way from DC to Jersey, my hubby asked my oldest what he liked best about the Air and Space Museum. He answered “Getting to pick my own drink at McDonalds.” bwa hahahahaha. Now that was funny. It was the first time we let him get a fountain drink and McDs was at the Air and Space Museum. But part of it was he was so very tired. Here is what he looked like about 5 minutes AFTER answering the question.

Later he talked about a lot of things IN the museum that he liked. Still, the first response was priceless.
Next I asked the youngest what was his favorite part. He said getting to sleep in an attic. Now this is not the best picture because we had pulled a ton of stuff out but hopefully it gives you an idea on the size of the room…

Yet, this is the same boy that waited patiently in the butterfly exhibit to have a butterfly land on him. No joking, I think he was in there a good 20 minutes before we got this picture:

Worth every minute to see the smile on his face. Soon I’ll post some pictures the boys took themselves. Until then… off to get more done!
My family desperately wants to go to Washington, DC but since we have to choose between that or the Adirondack’s this year, it comes in a sad second place. Since we don’t always get to go to the Adirondacks, I’m saving the DC trip for a year without an Adirondacks option.
LOVE the pictures! I can imagine you and your husband were enjoying the boy’s nap.

Pictures coming this week. But I think you’ll be gone.
