I have a friend that lived in Texas for many years. In fact that is where her son was born. They love to swim. One of the items discussed by swimmers with small kids is pool fencing. She talked about the pool fence dallas has versus here. Turns out… it really is the same. I know when we had a pool at our old house we also got pool fencing put up. I think it was better for keeping the dog out than the kids but it at least kept something out of the pool.
And now look at my kids… no pool in the yard but they are on the local city swim team. They have been to swim meets and continue to swim three to four times a week. They also want to know when we are getting pool at this house. NOT. Not happening. Still, it is wonderful that my kids are swimming. Life is good.
