One Happy Dog Speaks

This week is going to be rough. The oldest is going to soccer camp from 9 to noon. The youngest opted to go back to drama camp. This is a nightmare on me for coordination of time. Add in that I need to work. Hmmm. I saw an ad for wine making and it is starting to look like something I need to invest some time into… particularly if I have any more crazy weeks like this!

We were blessed with my in-laws coming down for the weekend. We ended up going to dinner at a local Japanese restaurant. They sat us with an older couple. We started talking together and found out he was a retired Marine. While we started a conversation with the couple, I ordered a sushi roll. Next thing I know there are only 3 pieces left of the sushi roll. I look over and my youngest son has eaten it. D’oh. Seriously… my kids don’t eat ‘strange’ food. Burgers, hotdogs, and chicken cordon bleu is about it. Everything else is eaten with the whole conversation consisting of ‘EEWWWWWWW’. Except for this restaurant. They will eat most anything here but sushi is new. Last time, the youngest ate one piece and didn’t eat any more. This time… yaaa…. I’ll have to keep my eyes open!
