It depends on the audience

I remember telling my kids how important it is to know your audience. Simple things can cause totally different thoughts to happen. Depending on who I was talking to, if I said I wanted spiral wraps… I would get different responses. A beautician would think about fixing my hair that way but one of my engineering friends might think about electrical sleeving.

Yet they look at me with completely blank looks when I give that as an example. I need to find something they can relate to easier. They really need to get that whole audience is important. It has gotten a little carried away this summer. Hopefully we can get it under control before school starts. That way they are not telling fart jokes in front of the teachers… Sigh.
