Found this poem on the web and loved it… For you sis:
You brighten up my life
With memories so fond
When I reach out
You always respond
You’re someone I can count on
When I need a helping hand
You’re compassionate and loving
You always understand
Oh yes you have your
Off days too
However those days
Are but numbered few
I’m so thankful to have
A sister like you
There is no other
Who could fill your shoes
Thanks again for being there for me when I need you. Nice to know you’ll always be older!!!! hahahaha. Enjoy!

Mom, your birthday means so much to me;
To have you in my life another year,
The time I spent enfolded in your love,
Each day, each moment with you is so dear.
I cherish the very special bond we have.
You lift my spirit in so many ways.
I celebrate your life; I honor you,
And send to you my love and care and praise.
By Joanna Fuchs
That poems says it quite well. I wish I had thought of it. You are a wonderful addition to my life. You taught me so much and continue to teach me as I get older. I love you mom. Happiest of Birthdays!

Tot had a blast at Disney… Here we are arriving:

That badge with Happy Birthday on it was what we needed for Tot to really get into his birthday. It was hilarious. All the Disney folks started to wish him a Happy Birthday and he started to strut. He then started to strut up to them and tell them he was SIX YEARS OLD. It was worth the whole trip just to watch him. It is wonderful to be young. Life is good.

Yesterday was Tater’s birthday. The big 7. We took off for Disney. They have a special that if you go on your birthday (and bring proof), the person with a birthday can get in free or if you already have a ticket… they give you a couple of options… one being getting a Disney debit card (ie Disney Dollars)… Yep… you can buy a lot of pins with $60 Disney dollars. Cool beans. The advantage of being so close to a fun park! We are able to get in the car and go. Tater decided the day before that we would go to Epcot first… The boy is definitely growing up and getting a mind of his own.
Seven years. It amazes me. Just this week he walked over and just gave me a hug because he loved me. It melted my heart. He is a wonderfully sweet, kind, considerate child. I hope nothing changes that as he grows. I love him with all my heart and I hope that he understands and feels it all the days of his life. Happiest of life my oldest child.

We allowed Tater to have his birthday party now… in May… versus July. Why? Because all of his friends would be gone in July. Most not getting back until the week before school starts. And this would be the one time he could invite his entire class. Phew. We also decided to use my hubby’s bonus for it. Hence the money came in and went out and not a penny is left.
I fussed over the place the whole time. It was too small, too noisy, too bright for me. Particularly since we had 18 people say yes they would be coming to the party. Now I love being around people… and I can even be around kids… outside. In parks. Not in buildings.
The kids loved it, the other parents thought it was great… I was wiggin out. It was a bounce, arcade kind of place. Here are some pictures while the kids were eating cake:

It was too much for me. No joke. Then the room with the cake… had a ’snow’ machine and a disco ball and an area for dancing. The kids went nuts over it. I’m sooooo done today. Give me a day or two to get my brain / body back in line.

I found a site of quotes and poems and this one fit the message I wish to send to Morrigan’s new addition to the family:
From morning till night
May your birthday be bright
And nicer than ever before……
And as years come and go
May your happiness grow
And your dreams be fulfilled
Even more
Happy Birthday to you!
Go on over to Bou’s POST HERE and see the pictures and get the information. What a beautiful girl.

Oh wait, I think my hubby is wrong on this one. My mom isn’t 100 yet… Today is her birthday, but she is just pushing it into the 70s… And look what she looked like back in the 1970s… Hey, I’m in enough trouble for putting happy 100th… might as well enjoy getting into some more…

Mom, you were a hottie and still look great… why didn’t you pass those genes on to me?????
Happiest of Birthdays and we all love ya!

No joke, Tot wanted his Mii off the Wii on his cake for his birthday. Sticks was there to help me out. What a mess. I was tired and didn’t want to do the little stars that you are suppose to use with the Wilson cake decorating kit… I used a butter knife and tip #12. It turned out all right… the kids thought it was great and that’s all that matters! Take a look:

Maybe Hubby will want something easier? Just a cake with chocolate icing. Or maybe I won’t ask him and that’s all he’s going to get! hahahaha… yep, his is coming up in about a week. Phew…
