It’s almost time…

After taking out a small loan… we are getting my teeth implants done tomorrow. I should be in no pain for 24 hours. And the card my mom sent me should keep me smiling.

The front says:

Ever notice,
the older we get,
the more we’re
like computers?

Open it and:

We start out with lots of
memory and drive,
then we eventually
become outdated,
crash at odd moments,
acquire errors in our systems,
and have to have our parts
replaced.

Have a happy!

Off to have ‘parts replaced’… hope it made you smile as much as it made me smile. Now if I could just be alive enough to check out some more ipod accessories to see if I really want an ipod after all the fun I have been having with my iphone. Or maybe I’ll hunt down iphone accessories. Nothing like being a numb face to sit and try to drool on my keyboard. ;-)

Christmas ideas… NOT

Seems my oldest wants one of them there ipods for Christmas… along with the normal starwars, legos, motorized cars, and the list goes on… I was surprised at the ipod though. Until he explained that there were kids on his bus with ipods. Really? Yep… Kindergartners and 1st graders and 2nd graders… all on board with ipods. Folks, I will not let my children take anything on the bus that costs more than $10… like the travel doodlepad I gave them. I know it is a 45 minute ride on the bus… but an IPOD??? Is it just me or do you think that is crazy too? I might like an ipod or one for my hubby… but not my 7 year old to take on the bus. Geeze.
