It amazes me how people come and go in our lives. I am working on the yearbook for the boys school. There was a volunteer who said she would like to run the yearbook next year. Cool. I was all ready to get her on board when she came back not a week later and said never mind. She was going to get a degree online and wouldn’t have time. It made me decide to look at online degrees to see what was out there. I found Western Governors University. It offers online degrees.

I read about it. Something that caught my eye was this “WGU was founded by the governors of 19 U.S. states. At no other time in the history of higher education have the governors of several states joined together to create a university.”. Which made me blink a couple of times. Then I also saw “TIME Magazine called WGU ‘the best relatively cheap university you’ve never heard of.’ “. I like Time Magazine and usually like their recommendations.

Since it has an online teaching degree you know I can not resist looking further. It kept emphasizing how your prior college experience may waive some degree requirements. Not that I have the money to go there right now… it is still an option at some future date. I liked their Math Teacher certificate program. Yep… another one to have on my blog so I can go back at some point and review what I said.
