It has a tarp over the top of the fort. My mom and I were going to replace it before she left. I forgot. It is now ripped so badly that it flaps in the wind. I took the time to get it painted so the wood would last longer and totally forgot about the tarp. Sigh. I dread having to do that by myself. Much more fun and easier when you have someone to help you. Such is life. I know what I’ll be working on this weekend.

Now the straight line is from a pencil that he accidentally ran across his face… the rest is from the swing set. Yaa…right after I told a mom how he has twisted that swing around for years even after I would tell him not to do that he might get hurt. Right in front of her eyes, he not only twists but PUSHES it so it swings. Now we have a nice elliptical to get us close enough to the wooden swing set to hit it. What a mess. Gotta love those boys.
