They had a ‘driving school’. The cars had gas and break pedals. They had to follow the rules of the road. There were about 12 kids on at a time. Egads.

It was fun.

No school today. Yep… a week off for Spring Break and one more day for Teacher Work Day. The kids get to keep on relaxing. We recently enjoyed a few days over in Orlando. We went to Disney first.

Then off to Legoland. And we even got to see the in-laws. The boys were happy to see their grandparents. They had a blast looking at all the premade legos too…

Luckily I got the picture before they tried picking his nose. Yaa, I have boys.

Sucks to be me right now. As the night winds down… I am winding way way down. I caught a cold. Sore throat, achy body, and low grade fever at night. Nothing all day long but tired and achy… tonight a whopping 100F. Just enough to make you miserable. Did I mention I still have to pack for us to leave after breakfast tomorrow? Shoot me. Still… I’m looking forward to getting away. It will be a nice trip if I can just make it through the day. Maybe they can push me around in a wheel chair!

Ok, I promised to put out some pictures but have been extremely busy… Hence, here is a couple to show you we really did go and it really was empty!

My youngest saw me, hence I got a tongue stuck out at me… he is in the front by himself… sigh… they are growing up…

On the other hand, the oldest convinced dad to ride in the very back with him!

The boys loved the Flight of the Hippogriff. In fact they would wait to get in the front. And they did it by themselves over and over again. This is the 4th or 5th time… and they are still smiling:

No matter… it was fun just walking around the park. I think they did a great job on this picture site!

It looks to me like they are really getting dragged! Another day of work and fun. Oh… and I’m older today. Another year older.

Seems you never grow to old to play cars…

And yes, I got on one of the stationary bikes and played along… just that no one got my picture. The boys loved the ‘little’ cars from Italy…

Yep… it was fun running around climbing in and around all the vehicles!

I felt like I was a racehorse this weekend. We took a short trip to Orlando. My hubby found a great deal at one of the hotels and we had annual passes to Universal. Might as well get our money’s worth out of it. We did… We rode all the rides they liked… and some of them multiple times. I couldn’t believe we ate at McD’s twice… once for dinner and once lunch. It was a ‘Bistro’… no joke…

And I had ravioli with Alfredo sauce for dinner… it was fine. For lunch the next day I had meatball sub. The meatballs actually had spices in them. They were tasty! The reason we had to go to THIS one… was not the fine dining (the boys had hamburgers) but because of the upstairs eating area… Take a look:

Usually, we don’t do those kind of games… but air hockey was an exception. Very fun… the boys laughed and had such a good time. So did Mom and Dad. More as the week progresses!

It has been a challenging week. Getting the kids to school, working and finding time to play with my friend. The families went out this weekend. Once to go bike riding together at a park near here… and one of the stops we made was to see this:

On Sunday we went snorkeling. There were a ton of fish out to see…

Hard to believe today is the last day. Or the fact that easter is this weekend. Where did the time go???

I’m happy and sad. Happy my friend and her son got to come visit, and sad they are leaving Wednesday morning. It has been a fun time with them. The boys are having a blast… mainly because her son, A, is so active. He gets them out playing soccer, baseball, running down to see the goats, swinging and the like. I love it because he has as much energy as they do and can just keep on going and going and going.

Ok, off to work for a couple of hours and then PLAY TIME!

Ok, we went on a short vacation. Very short. Didn’t visit anyone, sorry friends and family, because it was just a couple of days. We wanted to get away and it worked. I needed the break. I needed some quality time with the family. Have pictures but Paint Shop Pro and Picasso are not working well together and I have lost all my PSP settings AGAIN. Sucks to be me because Piscasso was easy to find all my pictures. Sigh. Too tired. Will work on it over the weekend.
